Emerald shoots and twisted roots battle against stone slabs, with bent backs, quaking knees, It's a half-hearted standing ovation. The sirens rang out last Thursday. They clanged, they clinged, they clung. "The skies have darkened" the old folk say, Eyes watering, as though stung. The scarlet eyed beasts are coming, Hairless, bloodless and blue. When our cries pierce, they shall sing, As they slice us through and through. Eventually, stars started to slip, From sight, through black, through night. Making room for the almighty ship, Whose lightning lasers this world would blight.

Once there was a certain tree-guarded way, By day and night bathed in cracked light from bless'd Sun and moon. His footsteps forever did Follow her own, in eager want and care. Down the ancient cobbles they both would dance, Led by birdsong in ethereal trance. Both at Heaven and earthly rocks they'd stare, And say "Dear, no mighty force could forbid Such love" For her heart and soul he possess'd And she, his own. And that is how it did stay.

I had moved here two weeks' ago, but had never visited this section of town so late at night. I had been invited to the pub by my neighbour, to make me feel welcome. Sorry, need a place to offload...

I don't expect anyone to read this at all, and that doesn't matter. I just really needed a place to offload some pent up kruddy feelings, and this is kinda the safest place for me to do it because I'd never write so openly on facebook and on tumblr I tend to get some form of abuse when I start to moan, which is fair enough I guess. But yeah, I'm just feeling incredibly sad at the moment, and very, very unworthy, uninteresting and undesirable and all that kind of stuff. I almost feel like the world is just breezing along around me and I'm just kinda like the most dull brown wallpaper, torn and faded, just looking on. I guess at the moment I
